Volunteer Opportunity: Become a Mentor for Youth in Extended Foster Care (EFC)!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young adults? The Lotus Coalition is seeking volunteer mentors to guide youth (ages 18-24) in our Extended Foster Care (EFC) program as they transition to independent living. Your support can help them build essential life skills and create a brighter future!

As a Mentor, You Will:

• Provide guidance on life skills such as budgeting, job readiness, cooking, and timemanagement.

• Help youth set and achieve personal goals in education, employment, and housing.

• Be a positive role model, offering encouragement and support.

• Facilitate group activities and workshops as needed.

• Make a lasting impact on a young person’s journey to independence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for working with youth and making a difference.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to commit to a flexible volunteer schedule.
