Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteer Coordinator (With Potential to Become a Paid Position)

Are you passionate about organizing and motivating others to make a difference? The Lotus Coalition is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to help manage and grow our dedicated volunteer team. This role offers the chance to develop leadership skills, build community connections, and could potentially grow into a paid position based on performance and organizational needs.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, You Will:

• Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers for various outreach initiatives, including fostercare support, homeless services, and trafficking survivor assistance.

• Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments, ensuring all outreach and events areproperly staffed.

• Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers, providing guidance, support, and training.

• Help organize and lead volunteer-driven projects such as donation drives, communityevents, and outreach efforts.

• Track volunteer hours and contributions, ensuring accurate records for reporting.

• Collaborate with our team to develop strategies for growing and enhancing our volunteerprogram.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience in volunteer management, event coordination, or community engagement is aplus.

• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for making a positive impact on vulnerable populations

• Flexible and available to assist with events and activities as needed
